VACANCY NOTICE #10-48

 
 
TITLE:                       Ambulatory Care Clinical Nurse, Temporary (As Needed)
DEPARTMENT:           Health and Human Services, Pueblo of Jemez
SALARY:                    Dependent on qualifications
 
 
JOB SUMMARY:      Provides ambulatory nursing care in a tribal operated health care clinic. Utilizing the Nursing process to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care.  Responsible for providing quality patient care services at Jemez Health Clinic.  Assesses and treats patients with a variety of conditions and ages.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Graduate of an Associates of Nursing Program or have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
  • Must be a registered Nurse licensed by a Board of Nursing required.
  • Must keep continuing education for nursing.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable through the tribe’s insurance carrier. 
  • Position subject to a criminal background and motor vehicle background check.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with people of all ages and diverse background.
  • Skills and ability to work in a variety of settings and changing environments.
  • Broad nursing knowledge base of patient care services.
  • Ability to relate to health care professional and paraprofessional staff and function as a health care team member.
  • Ability to adhere to all compliance and confidentiality guidelines including HIPAA Compliance and the Privacy Act.
