Jemez Health & Human Services (JHHS)

The Pueblo of Jemez Health and Human Services (JHHS) Department’s mission is to provide community health services to the people of Jemez Pueblo in a professional and sensitive manner always placing the needs of our community as our first priority.
JHHS offers health care and social services for the Pueblo of Jemez community and other eligible Native American patients. JHHS operates as a tribally-controlled health department under the authority of Public Law 93-638, under the direction of the Jemez Health Board and Pueblo of Jemez Tribal Government.
More than 130 staff members deliver services within the context of the Jemez culture and community in a clinically effective, timely manner.

Open 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Patient Services
Health Clinic providers see patients from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Dental Clinic providers see patients from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Pharmacy is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Public Health, Optometry and Audiology patients are seen by appointment.
The Behavioral Health Program is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Urgent patients are seen as soon as possible.

The Jemez Comprehensive Health Center hosts a medical clinic, dental clinic, pharmacy and radiology services. JHHS also offers several community health programs.
The medical staff includes a Board-certified family practice physician who serves as Medical Director, two full-time physician assistants, locum tenens from the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and contract medical staff. JHHS providers are supported by nursing, pharmacy, radiology, point-of-care laboratory, medical social work and other allied health staff.
