WVA Mission Statement
The Mission of the Walatowa Veterans Association is to respect and honor our veterans and their dependents by providing exceptional services, resources and entitlement.
WVA Vision Statement
To provide our Walatowa Veterans with the benefits and services they have earned – and to do so by adhering to the highest standards of compassion, commitment, respect, advocacy, and integrity.
Core Values
Compassion: We will treat all veterans and their families with the utmost dignity and compassion. We will provide services in a caring manner, with a sympathetic consciousness of others’ distress together with a desire to alleviate it.
Commitment: Veterans have earned our gratitude and respect. Their health care, benefits, and memorial service needs to drive our actions.
Respect: Treat all those I serve and whom I work with dignity and respect. Show respect to earn it.
Advocacy: Be truly Veteran-Centric by identifying, fully considering and appropriately advancing the interest of the veteran and beneficiaries.
Integrity: Act with high moral principles, adhere to the highest professional standards. Maintain the trust and confidence with whom we serve. By carefully listening and responding to their concerns and seek continuous improvement in our programs and services.
